Harrison, Kenneth Lloyd
Kenneth Lloyd Harrison, 76, of Columbus Junction, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. The Rev. Rich Adam will officiate the services. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at St. Mary's Parish Center. Visitation for Kenneth will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, at Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or St. Mary's Catholic Church in memory of Kenneth.

Kenneth Lloyd Harrison was born April 16, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Pearl and Opal (Jones) Harrison. On June 26, 1954, Kenneth was united in marriage to Patricia Louise Cory in Elkhart, Iowa. Kenneth was a foreman for L.L. Pelling for 45 years and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his wife, Patricia of Columbus Junction; his children, Mike Harrison of Columbus Junction, Mark Harrison and wife Rene of Riverside, Kent Harrison of Columbus Junction, Robin Harrison of Iowa City, Kevin Harrison of Ainsworth, and Russell Harrison of Columbus Junction; eight grandchildren, Josh, Nicole, Amy, Jessica, Cody, Billy, Katie and Kendell; five stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sharon Garcia and husband Eddie of Cambridge, Iowa.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mae Fry, half brother, P.C. Harrison; and half sister, Nellie Hills.
