Harris, Ellen 'Sam' (Funk)
Ellen “Sam” Harris (Funk), 59, of Arlington, Texas, died May 20, 2010 of cancer. She was born April 18, 1951, in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Ellen is survived by her mother, Wilma Funk; a daughter, Marci Heil; grandsons, Chawn, Casey and Jamey; two great-grandsons; a sister, Nancy Funk; and a nephew, Aaron Gracey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Funk.
Ellen graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1969. She had many talents and passions. She loved music, square dancing, computers, “Gone with the Wind,” all kinds of animals and living in Texas.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
