Harold Wayne "Woody" Mantz passed on March 26, 2014.
Survivors include sons Wayne, Steve, Gary and Michael; seven grandchildren; his mother, Eulah Mantz;
and two siblings, Jeanne Fratella and Bob Mantz.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Harold Mantz.
Wayne was born Sept. 1, 1943, in Marengo, Iowa, and graduated from Marengo High School in 1962. Later that year Wayne was married to Malinda Peters of Belle Plaine.
Living in Cedar Rapids, Wayne was employed at Quaker Oats and FMC before moving in 1981 to Phoenix, Ariz., where he worked for Phoenixware and Swift Trucking.
Wayne's many interests included hot rods, bus-mobile home conversions and reading.

A memorial service will be held graveside at the Marengo Cemetery at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 5.
