HAROLD MAX DAY

Harold Max Day, 86, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2021.
Max Day was born May 7, 1935, in Garden Grove, Iowa, the son of Oscar and Hazel (Helton) Day. He was united in marriage to Beulah Joyce Reynolds on Feb. 24, 1957. Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage and owned Brothers 3 Manufactured Homes in Cedar Rapids for over 32 years.
Max is survived by his wife, Joyce; two sons, Bryon (Kathleen) Day and Timothy (Jeanna) Day; grandchildren Jordan (Chris) Hanson, Darby Day, Jamison Day, Benjamin Day and Nicole Day; and great-granddaughter, Claire Hanson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Clifford Day, Junior Day, Lester (Margaret) Day, Dorothy (Richard) Cassity, Neal Day, Don Day and Helen (Ray) Loy; and mother and father-in-law, Betty (Leland) Johnson and Loren Craft.
A Celebration of Life will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Walford City Hall, 120 Fifth St., N, Walford, Iowa.
A very special thanks to the loving staff of UnityPoint Hospice in Cedar Rapids and Anamosa Care Center for caring for Max during his time with them.
