Harold John Becker, 90,
of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Watkins, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at Bickford of Marion. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Newhall, with Father Craig Steimel presiding. Burial will follow in St. Patrick and St. Paul Cemetery near Watkins. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the church. Brosh Chapel in Cedar

Harold was born June 2, 1927, in Watkins, the son of Arlo and Marie (Boddicker) Becker Sr. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Harold was united in marriage to Mary M. Woods on Feb. 15, 1955. They were later divorced. He farmed in the Watkins and Newhall area most of his life until moving to Cedar Rapids in 1990. Harold enjoyed farming, playing cards, dancing, traveling and wintering in Florida. He was a current member of the Elks Lodge, Keystone Turners and Norway American Legion and a past member of several dairy associations.
Harold is survived by his children, Patricia Struve (Tom Pickup) of Cedar Rapids, John (Maribeth) Becker of Tiffin, Ohio, James (Tina) Becker of Watkins, Pamela (Steven) Broscious of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Connie Clark of Cumming, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brothers, Wilford (Dorothy) Becker and Bob Becker, both of Newhall, and Ted (Rita) Becker of Center Point; his sister, Mary Lou Becker of Watkins; as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Arlo (Judy) Becker Jr. and Ralph (Jean) Becker.
