Harms, Leola (Ingersoll)

Leola (Ingersoll) Harms, 93, of Waverly, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at the Hiawatha Care Center.

Leola is survived by her three children and there spouses, a daughter, Judy (Frank) Spinler of Cedar Rapids, and two sons, David (Cindy) Harms of Iowa City, and Edward (Stephanie) Harms of Swanzey, N.H.; four grandchildren, Cher (Kurt) Stephenson of Cedar Rapids, Eric Harms of Courtland, Minn., Jessica Harms of Swanzey, N.H., and Eddie Harms of Boston, Mass.; one great-grandson, Cody Rawson of Cedar Rapids; Leola's special son, Peter (Gerie) Witkamp of Hilversum, Netherlands, and their children, Harm Peter and Roland; her companion and best friend, Belle, her toy poodle; three brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Waverly, with Pastor Curt Schneider officiating. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, where there will be an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. Burial will be held in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly.
