HARLAN GEIGER Amana Harlan C. Geiger, 78, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Middle Amana Community Church, Middle Amana, with Elder Peter Hoehnle officiating. Burial will be in Amana Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Middle Amana Community Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements. Harlan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Rettig Geiger; two sons, Steve of Amana and Scott (Angie) of San Mateo, Calif.; three grandchildren, Abigail, Nicole and Gabriel Geiger; and a brother, Norman Geiger (Rosemarie) of High Amana.
