Harbaugh, Marie Arlene

Marie Arlene Harbaugh, 79, of Strawberry Point, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, United Methodist Church, Strawberry Point, with Pastor Ron Blix officiating. Burial: Cass Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Keith of Strawberry Point; three children, Patricia (Harry) Morley and Barbara (James) Hutchinson, both of Strawberry Point, and Sandra (Gerald) Dennie of Winthrop; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Carl Martens and Betty Knipper, both of Edgewood, and Doris Lamb of Cedar Rapids; one brother-in-law, Robert (JoAnn) Harbaugh of Edgewood; and three sisters-in-law, Ivanelle Palmer and Darlene Harbaugh, both of Strawberry Point, and Betty Harbaugh of Manchester.

Marie was preceded in death by two children, Christine at birth and Kenneth in 1977; her parents, Henry and Katie Martens; a great-grandson, C.J. Mahoney; one sister, Donna Belle Martens; and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
