Hanus, Emma Anna
Emma Anna Hanus, 98, of Tama, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Paul Rendall officiating. Interment will follow at National Cemetery in rural Vining. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her children, Sharlene (Howard) McCord of Meadow Vista, Calif., Betty (Robert) Melvin of Brunswick, Ga., and Carol Wilcox of Belle Plaine; seven grandchildren, Sabrina Lane, Diane Brown, Michael Wilcox, Mia Hipkins, Bret McCord, Linda Owen and Treece McCutcheon; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
