Hansen, Raymond C.
Raymond C. Hansen, 100, of Marion, died Aug. 26, 2010, at Evergreen Estates III Care Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Marion, with Pastor Gregory Williamson officiating. Burial: Stanwood Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence.
Survivors include a son, Eldon (Bonnie) of Fairfax; two daughters, Marlaine(Merlyn) Wilken of Anamosa and Ruth Ann Hansen of Park Forest, Ill.; four grandchildren, Jackie Hansen, Jeff Wilken, Ross (Kris) Wilken and Amy (J.J.)Heying; four great-grandchildren, Jenna and Kayla Wilken and Brooke and Lauren Heying; three stepgrandchildren, Jeff (Camille) Roe, Scott (Karen) Roe and Tony (Sheila) Roe; and a brother, Harold (Margaret) of Lowden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alma, who died in 1997; son, Allen; and a stepgrandson.
Born July 22, 1910, in rural Lowden, son of Gustev and Martha (Krueger) Hansen, he married Alma Lehrman on Dec. 2, 1934, in rural Stanwood.
