Hamlett, Tim F.
Tim F. Hamlett, 79, of rural Arlington, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at Mercy Hospital of Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the church. Interment: Union Cemetery, Putnam Township, rural Aurora. Military graveside rites by the Aurora American Legion Honor Guard.
Tim is survived by his children, Lisa (Stewart) Byrne of Boca Raton, Fla., Matt (Jana) Hamlett of Arlington, Tom (Karen) Hamlett of Arlington, Mark (Jenny) Hamlett of Aurora; Neal Hamlett of Madison, Wis., and Erin Hamlett, and her mother, Phoebe Mills, both of Maynard; three stepchildren, Jerry (Connie) Meisgeier and family, Jim (Carol) Meisgeier and family and Dennis (Kathy) Meisgeier and family; 13 grandchildren; brother, Chuck (Jan) Hamlett of Lamont; and three sisters, Joanie Sellers of New York, Katherine Brown of Guttenberg and Kay (Andy) Lynch of Boulder Junction, Wis.
A memorial fund has been established.
