Halverson, Dorothy June
Dorothy June Halverson, 73, of Decorah, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at Barthell Eastern Star Home in Decorah. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Decorah Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Wayne Hagen and the Rev. Bryan Robertson presiding. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy and Jeff Ellingson, Decorah; a son, Eric and Cheli Halverson, Barcelona, Spain; and four grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; her parents, Arthur and Helen Whitley; her sister, Donna Koehn; and her brother, Jim Whitley.
