Haltom, Charles 'Joe'
Charles “Joe” Haltom, 67, of Stuart, formerly of Panora and Cedar Rapids, died Feb. 2, 2011, at Community Care Center, Stuart. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Twigg Funeral Home in Panora, with visitation one hour before services. Burial: West Cemetery, Panora.
Survivors include a sister, Linda Milota of Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Joe graduated from the Palo-Shellsburg High School in 1962. He lived and worked in Cedar Rapids for a short time, moving to Panora in the mid to late 1970s. Joe worked as a bartender at Fuzzy's and B & M Tavern. He loved to read and hang out with his friends.
Memorials may be left to Iowa Hospice or Community Care Center in Stuart.
