Hall, Sarah Jane Martens
Sarah Jane Martens Hall, 51, of Shellsburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, died at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services and inurnment at Oakwood Cemetery in Shellsburg will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her mother; children, Margaret Hall of Cedar Rapids and Amos Hall Jr. of Coralville; sisters, Sandy Sacora of Burlington, Sheila (Mike) Gallagher of Danville, Shirley Fraise of Shellsburg, and Tonya Stafford of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Charlie Martens (Lucy) of Vinton, and Brad (Charity) Stafford of La Vista, Neb.; several nieces and nephews; and life long friend, Georgia
She was preceded in death by father; and her infant son, Ralph Hall.
Sarah was born Sept. 23, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Vernon Charles and Sarah Mae Martens. She loved crocheting and playing card.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
