Hall, Jack E. Roy 'Gentleman Jack'
Jack E. Roy “Gentleman Jack” Hall, 59, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Swisher, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at his residence. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. No visitation. Body has been cremated.
Jack was born July 18, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Jackie and Kathryn (Kane) Hall. He was a member of American Legion Rainbow Post 2, AMVETS, Eagles Aerie No. 104 and SAL, was a former chaplain of American Legion Post 2 and former commander of American Legion Post 641.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include six children; five sisters, Donna, Rose Marie, Lou-Ann and Donita, Shelley; five brothers, Bill, Robert, Jerry, Don and Mike; close friend, Norma Faris; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; mother, Kathleen; one brother, Gary; and one sister, Tracy.
