Hahn, Max T.
Max T. Hahn, 65, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, in the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Burial, with military honors, will be at Rock Island, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Irlene Hahn; and niece, Diana Lynn Hahn.
Max Thomas Hahn was born Nov. 15, 1945, the son of Max H. (Dr. Max) and Pauline L. Hahn in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Max was proud to have served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include to love of his life, Doreen; Doreen's mother, Dixie; daughters, Katie Hahn, Jessica Huston and Jessica Mifflin; two sisters, Susan Wilford and Lois Hahn; and grandchildren, Maesen Hahn, Brandie, Raven and Vada.
Max's love of music, playing the guitar, was a lifelong passion. His gift to all who knew and loved him was playing his guitar and singing to them. He also enjoyed fishing, writing songs and always thinking of “Daddy's girl,” Katie.
