Hady, Marjorie J. 'Marge'
Marjorie J. “Marge” Hady, 82, longtime resident of Iowa City, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Solon Nursing Care Center. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held and her cremated remains will be inurned at the Oakland Cemetery Columbarium in Iowa City.

Marjorie J. (Porter) Hady was born June 6, 1929, in Iowa City, daughter of Kirk and Irene (Grey) Porter. She attended U-High and Iowa State University. She worked for many years at Catherine's in downtown Iowa City and after that spent many more years as a teller with First National Bank in Iowa City.
Her family includes her daughter, Carla Hady (Robert Greenwood) of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; grandsons, Noah and Nathan Miller and James Stone; and sister, Caroline Zeller.
Marge was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Miller and her parents.
