Gwendolyn “Gwen” Gail Thien, 69, of Tipton, Iowa, entered eternity on Friday, July 7, 2023, while at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Services for Gwen will be at the First United Church of Christ, Tipton on Tuesday, July 11, with Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. Immediately following the funeral service, Gwen will be laid to rest in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. After the Graveside service, family and friends are invited back to the church for a luncheon.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to either the National Alliance on Mental Illness, at donate.nami.org/; or the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, at donate.bbrfoundation.org/.
