Gus Daniel Ollinger, 43, lifelong resident of Iowa City, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Gus's family invites friends and family to join them from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Coralville American Legion to share stories and support.

Gus was born Aug. 25, 1970, in Iowa City, the son of Leo and Mildred "Millie" (Duwa) Ollinger. In addition to his family, he loved his Harleys and his dogs, Penny and Pete.
His family includes his siblings, Donna and Vic Zender of West Branch, John and Mary Ollinger of Keota, Nick and Tami Ollinger of Kalona, and Audrey O'Hara of West Branch; and many nieces and nephews.who he adored and they loved him back!
Gus was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Millie; and siblings, Pamela Strabala, Paula Ollinger, William Ollinger and Samuel Ollinger.
