Grunewald, Josephine N.
Josephine N. Grunewald, 98, of Blairstown, died peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Colonial Manor in Amana under the care of Essence of Life - Iowa Hospice. A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, at Blairstown Presbyterian Church with Gene Spicer and John Wilson officiating. Memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the church. Private family committal services will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth (Don) Kimm and Helen Grunewald (husband Tom Millward), both of Blairstown; six grandchildren, Cyrena Melich, Jennifer James, Lisa (Craig) Peterson, Georgia (Duncan Kilburn) Millward, Chloe (William Whitmore) Millward and Andrew (Natalie) Whelchel; two great-grandsons, Kyle Bos and Nick Peterson; and two sisters, Ninfa Grinnell and Sally Ward, both of Madison, Wis.
