Grundmeyer, Dale Edwin
Dale Edwin Grundmeyer, 60, of Edgewood, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Edgewood. Interment: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Julie of Edgewood; children, Cory Grundmeyer (friend Cheryl Carder) of Cedar Rapids, Katie Grundmeyer of Cedar Rapids and Michelle (Brian) Horgen of LeRoy, Minn.; his mother, Alvina Grundmeyer of Oelwein; siblings, Sheryl (Joe) Hammel of Frankville, Lila Dvorsky of Marion, Jane (Bob) Groth of Garber, Mary (Sharm) Samuelson of Oelwein and Julie Kay of Des Moines; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials would be preferred.
Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, is in charge of arrangements.
