Gronen, Penny A. (Burns)
Penny A. (Burns) Gronen, 51, of 4950 Angel View Dr., Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Cedar Rapids died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Dubuque. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2659 Kennedy Rd., Dubuque. Friends may also call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Penny was born March 8, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Gilbert and Sandra (Fulton) Burns. She graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School and Coe College.
Included in the survivors is a sister, Tara Filosa of Cedar Rapids.
A Penny Gronen Memorial Fund has been established.
