Harold V. Grimme, 86, died Jan 22, 2011 at the Lutheran Home, Belle Plaine, Minn.; his wife,
Cecilia Catherine (Kay) Grimme, 84, died March 19, 2011 at Kingsway Retirement Living, Belle Plaine, Minn. The Grimmes were formerly of Cadiz, Ky. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elkader, with the Very Rev. Paul Peters officiating. Inurnment: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Elkader. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the churchy.
Survivors include daughters, Anne Jorgenson of Andover, Minn., Jean Jeannotte of St. Louis, Mo., and Diane (Bruce) Clausen of Belle Plaine, Minn.; and son, David Grimme of Bloomington, Minn.; grandchildren, Eric (Jennifer) Jorgenson, Scott (Therese) Jorgenson, Allen Clausen, Johanna Clausen and Catherine (James) Marshall; 10 great-grandchildren; Harold's sisters, Jeanette (Merald) Enstad and Alyce Ellwanger; Kay's sister, Mildred (Downey) Walch of Elkader; Kay's brothers, Robert (Joann) Downey of Cedar Rapids, and Keith (MaryJo) Downey of Laramie, Wyo.; and many nieces and nephews.
