Grimm, Karen E.
Karen E. Grimm, 68, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of rural Deep River, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, in Arizona. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, at the Deep River Community Center, 701 Main St., Deep River, with Shirley Van Dee officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Deep River Community Center. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; a son, Todd Grimm (Sara) of North English; two daughters, Nicole Sue Hartman (James) of Montezuma, and Lauri Guzman (David) of Fresno, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Darlo Kelting (Diana) of Grinnell; and a sister, Lanette Crow (Lyle) of Oxford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kristi Neil; two brothers, Arlen “Buck” Kelting and Garth Kelting; a brother-in-law, Dean Wright; and a sister-in-law, Norma Kelting.
