Grimm, Joan Maxine
Joan Maxine Grimm, 77, of What Cheer, formerly of Millersburg, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa following an auto accident. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Millersburg United Methodist Church, Millersburg, with Pastor Ben Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Millersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Powell Funeral Home in North English.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Hopwood and husband Roger of Guernsey, Diane Shaffer and husband Steve of Deep River, and Amy Leer and husband Leroy of What Cheer; a son, Clifford Grimm of Millersburg; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Clubb of South English; and sisters, Peggy Derby of Richland, and Doris Owings of DeWitt.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Rodney, Russell, Roger, Gordon and Forrest Clubb; and sisters Allegra Cooney and Margaret Teeter.
