Griffith, Rebecca Jo

Rebecca Jo Griffith, 43, of Anamosa, was born July 9, 1970, and went to her eternal life on Sept. 22, 2013. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Ascension Lutheran Church, with Pastor Linda Livingston officiating. There will be a private inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later time.

Rebecca was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Sherry Barnes-Griffith. She worked as an RN and enjoyed taking care of people.

Rebecca is survived by her parents, Robert and Sherry Griffith; three siblings, Braden (Jodi) Griffith, Raychelle Griffith and Noretta Griffith; and a niece, Marissa Griffith. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by three grandparents and a friend very near and dear to her heart.

Rebecca had an incredible love of music, playing cards, and spending time with her family, and had a very compassionate heart.

Friends and family are encouraged to give memorial donations to the family in lieu of flowers.
