Griffin, Marcia
Marcia Griffin, 77, of Shellsburg, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Rock Ridge Residential Care, Shellsburg. There will be a private family graveside service at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Gayle (Jeff) Beary of Cedar Rapids; three stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Bosen, Julie (Shawn) Garringer and Jannell (Heath) Harman; sisters-in-law, Karen (Dean) Drew of Waukon and Hope Griffin of Rochester, Minn.; and many stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Violet Dwyer; and her husband of 50 years, Greg Griffin.
Marcia was born July 10, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Dennis and Violet Dwyer. She worked 34 years at W.R. Grace Cryovac division.
