Grell, Douglas Ross
Douglas Ross Grell, 70, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Phoenix Veterans Hospital following a long illness. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arizona.
He is survived by his children, David Grell and Sherri Grell Fitzpatrick and her husband, Shawn. He also had three grandchildren.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1941 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He married Sarah McBride on Sept. 21, 1963. He was an E5 in the U.S. Army and belonged to the American Legion. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
He will be missed by family and friends.
