Greene, Robert M.
Robert was born Nov. 9, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Aloysius and Irene Morey Greene. He married Gwendoline D. Eker on Jan. 1, 1945 in St. Helens, England. Robert was a millwright at Penick & Ford and retired from there after more than 47 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic, American Legion Post No 298 in Marion and proudly served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Robert enjoyed watching the Cubs, bowling, playing soft ball, going for rides and especially the time spent with his beloved family.
A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name.
