Greaser, Edna M.
Edna M. Greaser, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 14, 2011. Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
Edna is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Gary (Trudy) Greaser and Doug Greaser, both of Cedar Rapids, and Gregg (Patty) Greaser of Hiawatha; three grandchildren, Michelle (Dennis) Hanke of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jeff Greaser of Oak Point, Texas, and Kalli Wilson of Waterloo; and great-grandson, Dylan Elliott of Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Doris Burkhart.
Edna was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Vinton, to Rollin and Bernice “Mabel” Johnson. She married Harold M. Greaser on Sept. 23, 1942, in Vinton. She worked for Armstrong's Department Store for over 28 years. Edna was a member of the Royal Neighbor Lodge, the American Rose Society and the Linn County Rose Society. Edna was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She also loved spending time with her family.
