Graunke, Deborah Sue (Euren)
Deborah Sue (Euren) Graunke, 60, of Hillsboro, Ore., passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at OHSU. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Community of Christ Church, 5170 NW Five Oaks Dr., Hillsboro, OR 97124.
Debbie was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Bloomington, Ind. She was raised and educated in Indiana, Minnesota and Nebraska, graduating from John F. Kennedy High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1969. She earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of North Dakota in 1973.
She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, PEO, Oregon Nurses Association and was a Board Certified Lactation consultant.
She will be remembered for her dedication to maternity nursing and lactation services at Tuality Community Hospital, where she worked for 33 years, and for her love and loyalty to her family and friends.
Debbie was married to Gary Graunke on Sept. 17, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Jean Draxton.
She is survived by her spouse; her daughters, Jennifer Rives and Larissa Amanna, her sons-in-law, Joel Rives and Ian Amanna, and her grandchildren, Brennan and Makailyn Rives and Hailey and Hayden Amanna, all of Hillsboro, Ore.; sister, Dena Draxton, Seaside, Ore.; and brother, David Draxton, Colorado Springs, Colo.
