Grant L. Forrester, 47, of Elberon, passed away July 17, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Celebration of Life is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service in Belle Plaine, with a time of food and fellowship to immediately follow at Belle Plaine Community Center.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Grant was born Dec. 15, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Donald and Donna Forrester. He attended Belle Plaine schools and graduated from Belle Plaine in 1988. After high school, he attended HVAC Technical School in Lafayette, Ind., and mechanical school in Arizona. He previously was employed at Kinze Manufacturing in Williamsburg.
Grant enjoyed working on cars, being outdoors, making things look nice through landscaping, and hanging out with his dog, Samson.
He will be remembered as a dreamer with a free spirit.
Grant is survived by his mother, Donna Forrester of Elberon; siblings, Dan Forrester and Julie Forrester, both of Elberon, Theresa Forrester of Chelsea, Patty Kearns of Belle Plaine and Marie Brown of La Porte City; half siblings, Twyliah McNeal of Coggon, Donald Forrester Jr. of Vinton and Shari Hopkins of Columbus, Ohio; girlfriend of 7 1/2 years, Michelle Lee of Indianola; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends, including Dave Bringmann and Sandee Grogan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and brother-in-law, Roger Kearns.
