Graham Jr., William E.
William E. Graham Jr., 87, of 330 Rockford Rd. SW, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Graveside services, with military rites: 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four nieces, Jean Domino of Rockford, Ill., Betty and Elaine Cowgur, both of Cedar Rapids, and Nancy Salles of Hixson, Tenn.; a nephew, Robert Graham of Spencer, Tenn.; and a cousin, Marilyn Hunter of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Bill was born July 13, 1923, in Bloomington, Ill., the son of William and Lonnie (Potter) Graham Sr. He served in World War II and retired from the Army after 20 years of service.
He was a member of American Legion Hanford Post 5 and enjoyed reading.
Memorial donations may be given to the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
