Graham, Jean F.
Jean F. Graham, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Private services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Douglas (Christine) Graham and Marilyn Orton, both of Cedar Rapids, Anthony (Lynn) Orton of Huntsville, Ala., and Raymond (Sally) Orton of the United Kingdom; grandchildren, James, Victoria, Rachel, Oliver, Brooke, Ben and Nick; brother, Edward Earp of the United Kingdom; and her beloved pet, Gigi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Douglas.
Jean was born Sept. 29, 1921, the daughter of Francis and Lillian (Dudman) Earp, in Chalfont, St. Peter, United Kingdom. She served with the WRENS in the United Kingdom. Jean married Douglas J. Graham in 1975. He died Sept. 25, 2010.
After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, she followed her beloved husband seven weeks after his death. She lived, loved and laughed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, 315 18th Ave., Hiawatha, IA 52233, in memory of Jean.
