Graesser Jr., Henry F. 'Heinie'
Henry F. “Heinie” Graesser Jr., 85, of Amana, formerly of West Amana, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Colonial Manor of Amana. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, with the Rev. Gary Sears officiating. Burial will be in West Amana Cemetery, with military honors. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Memorials may be contributed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, or Colonial Manor of Amana.
Heinie is survived by his children, Dennis Graesser of West Amana and Carol Hopp and husband Gary of West Amana; five grandchildren, Nathan Hopp and Crystal Hopp, both of West Amana, Tricia Schutterle (Wayne) of Norway, Tonya Grambo (Rick) of West Amana and Rachel Trimpe, also of West Amana; and six great-grandchildren, Morgan, Whitney and Ethan Schutterle, Grant and Loralei Trimpe and Brandon Chalfant. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Christine Graesser of West Amana; and sister-in-law, Betty Graesser of Middle Amana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Graesser Sr. and Frieda Berger Graesser; and two brothers, Elmer and Leroy.
