Grace Agnes Tucker, 82, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on Aug. 2, 1939, in Dyersville, the daughter of Alphonse "Al" and Amelia (Helle) Maiers. Grace was raised on the family farm near Colesburg, attending a country school and graduating from Colesburg High School in 1956.
On April 30, 1960, Grace was united in marriage to Dean Tucker at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Colesburg. To this union four beautiful children were born, Christine, Duane, Carol and Kerry. Grace was a homemaker and worked side by side with Dean on the family farm for 40 years. Later they operated "Tuckers Flowers" for 10 years and then ran the Charles City and Oelwein Super 8 Motel for 10 years before retiring.
Grace's greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the many nieces and nephews who spent weeks at the farm, and the many friends whom she also called her family. She left us all with the heartfelt message of "I Love You More" and it will be forever engraved within our hearts.
Gracie also enjoyed dancing, gardening, oil painting, bluegrass music, flowers (especially her orchids), and the many car rides with Deano.
Those she has left behind include her husband of 62 years, Dean Tucker of Strawberry Point; her four children, Christine (Eugene) Kauffman of Strawberry Point, Duane (Karla) Tucker of Yankton, S.D., Carol (Ric) Huber of Atkins and Kerry Tucker of Manchester; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Jerry (Rita) Maiers, Marie Pasker, Wilfred (Maxine) Maiers and Diane (Tom) Scherbring.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma (George) Burkle, Irma (Ernie) Kelchen, Virginia (Don) Lee and Jim Pasker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Public Celebration of Life: 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, in the upper room at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa.
Interment: Forestville Cemetery, Dundee, Iowa.
