Gould-Homsey, Teresa Jean
Teresa Jean Gould-Homsey, 53, of Lenoir, N.C., was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, after a courageous 15-month battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 6, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Teresa was a daughter of Beverly Truesdell and the late James Gould.
In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by her partner in life and in love, Ken Stouwie of Lenoir; three daughters, Stacia Jennings of Washington, D.C., Michelle Roth of Cedar Rapids and Crystal Bell of Wichita, Kan.; six grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
The family will be having a celebration of life Saturday, Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m. in the Overlook Pavilion at Ellis Park in Cedar Rapids. Friends and family are invited to attend.
