Gorman, Patricia Lee
Patricia Lee Gorman, 75, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Marion and Rowley, died Aug. 26, 2012, in Gilbert, Ariz. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at Lowe Park in Marion. Private graveside services will be at a later date.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam (Steve) Stiers; her sons, Joe (Cathy) Gorman and Shawn (Kim) Gorman; a brother, Jim Vavroch; grandchildren, Emily Pedder, Adam Stiers, John Gorman, David Gorman, Brendan Gorman and Kaiden Gorman; and two great-grandchildren, Anabelle Stiers and Ivo Pedder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark; her parents, Tom and Gladys Vavroch; and a sister, Shirley O'Brien.
Patricia Lee Gorman was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Tom and Gladys Vavroch. She graduated from Franklin High School. She married Mark Gorman on May 30, 1968. Pat worked for Rockwell until her retirement.
She enjoyed playing cards, crafting and reading. Pat was outgoing and kind to all; she never met a stranger.
She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who will be dearly missed.
