Gordon Vanter of Marion, formerly of Strawberry Point, passed away Jan. 5, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; daughters, Kristi (Matt March) and Wendi; grandchildren, Zach, Hannah, Jace and Lily; mother, Lillian Vanter; brothers, Dick (Mary) Fox and Gary Vanter; and sister, Mary (DD) Prussel.
Per Gordon's request, a gathering will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Springville United Methodist Church, 169 Broadway St., Springville, with a light lunch provided for everyone.
