Goodwin, Sarah Jane

Sarah Jane Goodwin, 63, of Washington, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at her residence following a lengthy illness. Celebration of Life services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, with Father Marty Goetz officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery.

She is survived by three children: son, Jeff Goodwin and wife Angie of Richmond, Iowa; daughter, Amy Schulte and husband Dan of Keota, Iowa; and son, B.J. Goodwin and friend Michelle McCarty of Washington, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Ryann Riggan, Kaleb Goodwin, Baylee Goodwin, Abby Schulte, Jillian Schulte, Jaime Schulte, Malachi Goodwin, Max Goodwin, Lilly Goodwin and Emma Goodwin; mother, Dorthea McDole; sister, Ruth Ann Gugel and husband Donnie of Washington, Iowa; and friend, Rick Coon of Muscatine, Iowa.

Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County.
