Gonlubol, Ahmet
Ahmet Gonlubol, 53, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Des Moines and Council Bluffs, died Nov. 27, 2011. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, Council Bluffs. Visitation with the family will be one hour before service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Sela; children, Maya Gonlubol and Jacob Hutchinson; brother, Ali Gonlubol; and sister, Ayse Gonlubol.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Fethi and Munire Gonlubol.
Ahmet was born Nov. 12, 1958, in Kansas City, Kan. He graduated from Creighton University and Creighton Law School and was an attorney in Cedar Rapids.
