Golladay, Alma 'Hop' Ruth Kerkman
Alma “Hop” Ruth Kerkman Golladay, 60, born June 12, 1949, and has gone to sleep with the angels on Oct. 5, 2009. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastview Christian Church by the Rev. Bill Holley. Visitation will be one hour prior the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Linwood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Alma is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (David) Vandermeer of Grandville, Mich.; three granddaughters, Blake Elizabeth, Amanda and Christine; her brother, John (Lynda) Kerkman of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Paul Robert Kerkman of San Antonio, Texas; niece, Diva (Justin) Perez of Montgomery, Ala.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Gladys; and her son, Billy.
Alma will be remembered by her good friend, Barb Speake, and all of her friends from Eastview Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Alma's memory.
