Glubka, Denise M.
Denise M. Glubka, 55, of 1837 Eighth Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at her home. Private family inurnment will be held at the Linwood Mausoleum at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include the joys of her life, her husband, Franklin Glubka; her daughter, Tracy of Cedar Rapids; her son, Adam of Walford; a granddaughter, Makayla, and two grandsons, Hunter and Conner. She's also survived by her best friends, Michelle and Brian Wells, Kathy Pearson, Kris Rosel, Nancy Kindred and work buddy, Peggy Barger; and two loving dogs, C.B. and Casper.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Immogene and Christopher McCallum.
Denise was born April 25, 1956, in Manchester, Iowa. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. On June 23, 1989, she was united in marriage to Frank Glubka at St. Jude Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Denise was a stay-at-home mother raising her children before working at Legacy Manufacturing in Marion.
She enjoyed camping every weekend at Cedar River Campground and liked antiques and crystal miniatures.
