Gloria "Marie" Myers, 72, of Mount Vernon, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids after a stroke on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016. An open house will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Old City Hall, Bertram.
Marie was born Dec. 26, 1943, to Pearle and Ruby (Burgess) Luster in Lodi, Calif.
Survivors include her children, Tina Skibbe, Butch (Heather) Myers and Skeeter (Slick) Montgomery; six grandchildren, Chuck Young, Brittany (Cody) Rogers, Patrick (Anna) Myers and Hannah Myers, Mitchell (fiance Taylor Eaker) Montgomery and Matthew (fiancee Maja Howe) Montgomery; and siblings, Gene (LaDyne) Luster, David Luster and Dee Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children, Wayne.
