Glenn Marshall Seltrecht, 75, died Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton following a long illness. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Van Steen-huyse-Russell Funeral
Home in Vinton. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m., with Chris Lafler officiating. Private interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Glenn is survived by his son, Marshall (Thanya) Seltrecht of Albia; daughters, Sue Ann Hunt of Vinton, Monica (Dan) Friedman of Belle Plaine, Billie Jo Coady of Vinton and Chris (Lynn) Lafler of Van Horne; stepsons, David (Janice) York of Davenport and Mike York of Vero Beach, Fla.; stepdaughter, Cathy (Nick) Nicoletto of Davenport; brothers, Vernon Seltrecht of Northbrook, Ill., Carl (Karen) Seltrecht of Marion and Merle Seltrecht and David (Beth) Seltrecht, both of Center Point; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; son-in-law, Linwood Hunt; and great-grandson, Paul Smith.
A memorial fund has been established.
