Dee was a nurse at Mercy Medical Center for many years and retired in 1995. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and volunteered as a foster grandparent with Children of Promise. Dee was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. Dee even got to meet Kirby Puckett, her favorite player. She also loved her Iowa Hawkeyes!
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Ridgeview Assisted Living, the ICU of Mercy Medical Center and the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy for taking such good care of our mom and grandma. Also, we offer a special thank-you to Dee’s good friend, LuAnn.
