Glenda Susan Masek, 62, died Thursday, May 18. 2017, surrounded by her family. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, St. Mark's Faith & Life Center,
Marion, with visitation one hour before services.
Survivors include her son, Richard
(Sabrina) Masek Jr.; her mother, Edna Erie of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Janice Svejda of
Cedar Rapids, Connie (Glen) Sterling of Hulett, Wyo., and Sandy (Steve) Gollobit of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Zachary, Rylee and Jasmyne; her former husband, Richard Masek Sr.; many nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends at Playtime Tap.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Glen; and brother, Garry Erie.
Glenda enjoyed making salsa for Christmas gifts, stained glass, the Steelers and her Harley Davidson.
The family would like to extend special thanks the SNICU and the palliative care teams at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
