Gladhill, Donna J.
Donna J. Gladhill, 57, of Hiawatha, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from complications of diabetes. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Emory Gillespie. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis of Hiawatha; sisters, Linda (Nick) deJonge of Denver, Colo., and Sandy (Dan) Rosenberger of Marion; and nieces, Katie and Sarah Rosenberger of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna was born Sept. 21, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Paul and Shirley (Hilborn) Latare. She married Dennis Gladhill on Oct. 20, 1979, in Cedar Rapids. Donna was a lifelong member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Cedar Rapids. She was employed at Life Investors for many years, retiring in 1985. Donna was a member of TTT-GE. She was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed crocheting, and was very involved with the Prayer Shawl Ministries at the church.
Memorials may be directed to the Hiawatha Fire and Rescue at 60 N 10th Ave., Hiawatha, IA 52302, in Donna's memory.
