Gilpin, William P. 'Bill'
William P. “Bill” Gilpin, 81, of 32 Brentwood Lane, Iowa City, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Mercy Hospice Care in Iowa City from complications of dementia. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City, where the family will invite friends to share memories beginning at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with full military graveside rites.
