Gertrude Hageman, 93, of Calmar, Iowa, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar, with Father Robert Gross presiding. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Calmar, with a rosary at 4 p.m. There also will be visitation after 10 a.m. at the church on Thursday.
Survivors include eight children, Mary Lou Hageman (Paul "Dick" Headington), Decorah, Iowa, Thomas "Tom" (Denise) Hageman, Ossian, Iowa, Howard (Sandy) Hageman, Elk City, Okla., twins, Linda (Jim) Lukes, Decorah, and Lois (Cliff) Holthaus, Decorah, twins, Sue (Tim) Broderick, Decorah, and Sam Hageman (Lisa), Fort Atkinson, Iowa, and Roy (Patty) Hageman, Decorah; and in-laws, Rose (Linus) Tupy, Fort Atkinson, Martha (Ed) Mikota, Ossian, Lucy Hageman, Ossian, and Paul (Colleen) Hageman, Decorah.
